Email glitch

When I started up my email program first thing yesterday morning all of the email accounts were gone – somehow the configuration had got corrupted. Since then I have recreated the email accounts (working out the correct settings for one of them was a pain) and recreated some of the filters. Fortunately all of the emails were still there and could be accessed again as soon as I recreated the first account.
