Valid Dates of Birth

Programmers can now safely update their date of birth validation code to disallow dates in the 1800s (at least where the person is supposed to be still living). The death of the oldest person in the world (a Japanese lady born in 1898) means that the oldest person still alive as of today was born in 1900 (at least the Guinness world record people don’t know of anyone still alive born earlier than that – it might be worth waiting just a while longer just in case).
